    same here on the G jobs here. alot of the old school machinist and electricans are gone. got a few though. I do OT for them some. even covered one bindery machinist which i am not. was scared to death but know our equipment well. it was only 2 weeks and gave all the machining work orders to them. ill buy him a12pk and sit in his truck bed. thats how we roll.it was tube pot metal and weld broke from last time. gonna weld a round stock plug in it and drill n tap so we have a weld and bolt holding it.
    I may have been picking up hay to mulch my garden. dont think is was made for that. lolo_O

    my ole bud fixed the yard sweeper. cut the thin tube shaft off and replaced the whole shaft with a solid shaft of round stock. drill/tap bolted on and welded. he actually called me to the shop to see it. he was ticked he didnt do it right a year ago when it broke. 308949FF-122B-4E16-AEA3-0230E3D04A71.jpg

    Out in Monterey where im from on the mtn. to the east is a forest service road that goes about 15 miles. on top it goes by a fire tower that used to be manned during fire season.they talked about restoring it but i think the took it down for safety reasons.ill have to goggle it. it was on Jack Mountain. my place now is 15 minutes from Skyline Drive at Afton Mtn.
