hmmmm.... got a wayward potato hiding someplace?

or houseplants? they can breed in the sol of potted plants. just dont water them for a few days, let the soil dry out completely and it will either kill them or they'll move on

This was the problem we had a few years ago. I was checking all the trash can. Looking in the couch. Finally found um in the plants. Everything went outside. It was January.

and what a vacation it was! We were up really early every morning, missed the traffic, went on obscure trails, missed the hoards and it was beautiful!
Just got home and unloaded. Work at 0600. One day closer to GTFO of here! (Meanwhile Zion had some serious flash floods and mud slides todoay)

it gets a little less busy in October. opening (mid April) and closing (1st weekend of November) are my favorite times to visit. weather can be a wildcard but the animals are super active and the crowds a but less touron-y.

    How'd the camper do?

I've seen one in all my travels. Was just about to get out of the truck to get a pic and the little bastard came after me! He was ready to take down the Taco! Ballsy little things.

    Dinky did great!

this one was huge! Appeared to be following a couple at the Lamar Vly TH but waited til they crossed the footbridge. Then made a mad dash across the bridge himself! I have photos, but on the big camera I haven’t even looked at yet...

My wife is wicked with a fly swatter. She never misses, like Clint Eastwood in an old Western. With the ac on and the windows shut, the only way they get in here is when somebody (hello grandson or slow moving dog) holds the door open too long.
