It's only for a few days but it's a true grave. I actually like that shift, the problem is the turn around. The shop will try to hav e do a one day turn and it just hurts too much. When I was 20 or 30 ok but not now. Lol

Oh there is no way it's cheaper this time. They got to pay the original bill. Now they get to pay real hard. The lesson here is, don't call me to come verify, correct, and sign off on a hacks job. I do it but the cost is about 3 times more than it would have been to begin with. I'm a real hard ass on these types of jobs.

Well decided to give some attention to my neglected motorcycles. Started with my old dual sport. Tires, battery and oil Ok. Opened the petcock and fuel goes every where. Lines had gone brittle and cracked. So there's something to tinker with.

A 98 KTM RXC 620. I need to unload it as it's too much of a challenge for my 50 year old, 30" inseam to throw a leg over any more.

I've had dual sports since I was a kid. I still have one but it's my retirement project. It's a 1976 Honda MT250 Elsinore. It's about 99% complete, just needs to be taken back down to the frame and rebuilt/restored.

I know what you mean a about riding dirt anymore.

I stick to the asphalt these days with cruisers and touring. Guess I'm getting lazy.

@US Marine I hear you on the Coxey road. Either we wait until it is covered in snow, did it last year was fun, or wait until we go a month or two with no rain and enjoy it dry. Also let me know when and where your surgery is and I will come by and pay you a visit. Maybe sneek in some pizza and beers to go with the painkillers or to payoff the physical therapists!

Loved my dirt bike-1998 Honda XR250R punched out to 280 with 12" of travel front and back. I could go over or climb anything if I could get traction. Three herniated vertebrae in the back put an end to it. Sold it off last Memorial day, almost shed a tear watching it go down the street.
