Finalizing race prep last night.


Trying to get answer from the power’s to be if I can get the car on the tail end of one of the slow classes and just drive around for 5 laps to scrub in a set of tires. We only have one practice and need to get the car dialed in so driving around 50% slower won’t help. Sometimes they have hardship track time. Grrrrr

 

Someone wanted to know when we are going.

I have an appointment with the orthopedic doc this morning. Left knee is acting up again.

Sorry all,

2 weeks we've been at home, neither of us all that sick per se, I have lost my taste but other than that mine has been pretty much BORED to tears staying at home, trying to avoid contact. Initially Joyce was pretty sick with fever and cough and headaches and all that, she's still got sinus issues but is ready to go back to work to. We spent the last 5 days trying to get re-tested, no one will test us down here to return to work. Finally got in yesterday so, 48 hours test and we'll see.. Thank god for COMP and annual leave accrual or we'd be in a world of shit here..

Hope everyone else is doing well, many pages of updates I'm not going to try and go back to..

We run the Vintage VRG …
Group assignments are not always fair but with the diversity we have we need to get the car speeds close. So technically you can have a big v8 car running in the same group as this. They try to get lap speeds close. However , sometimes it’s still a lap time difference of 2 seconds. Makes things really interesting. Remember it’s groups, not class..It’s going to be a very big field in our group this year. Being first isn’t what it’s all about. It’s personal bests. The Racing Family unites to help each other.
It’s a good time..
