    Ok folks, if you have kids, get them in line, this COVID shit is real...

    I've been having the argument with my Red-Neck Son for a year now about masks and vaccinations and such, he is 10 foot tall and bulletproof, my fault I used to think that too till the second heart attack..

    His best friend from about 13 years old till today contracted COVID 2 weeks ago, turned into Pneumonia then double pneumonia, then this morning the young man's heart just couldn't take the strain of the respirator the medicines and the hospital. This morning at 39 years young, he had a massive cardiac event which sent him home to be with the lord!

    This was one of those kids that you thought, "I'll let my kid play with him, he's a good kid" amongst all the little shits that Thomas played and hung with as kids till today. I don't think I've heard my Son cry more than he did with my Mom and Dad passed years back, till this morning on that phone call!! He's been a close friend of the family, always respectful, Daddy taught him how to behave, and helpful even when he didn't have to be..

    RIP my young friend!!

    It is winterized. Hence the no showers comment. I just bring 5 gallon jugs of water for cooking and washing up.
    Found a cool site in ID. But theres a lot of dump trucks cruising by right now and I'm not 100% that I can have a fire so not sure I'm staying. Between the traffic noise and no fire/cool weather combo I'm might keep looking.
