Afternoon all

Just got back home from the VA and had my r/ leg - knee measured for a carbon fiber knee brace that will limit extension / flexion and limit hyper extension . Getting this brace will allow me to walk

Should be ready In 6-8 weeks and will head back to the VA to be fitted for the brace . Also very impressed with the Nashville VA med center , it's so much nicer and easier to find the clinics . So much better than the Loma Linda VA Med system


The other thing that I liked seeing and was very impressed over this was that the tech who was helping me with my knee brace who also is a Vet was an above the knee amputee

 

Got to wait 6-8 weeks for it to be custom made for me

my garage door was acting all kinds of funny. Trolley sticking on the stop nut, figured out how to release it , tightened chain but couldn’t set the limits. I had a feeling it was this part after some calls and research. Couldn’t physically fix it myself. Ended up call a door place and they fixed it for $160 . $120 per hour plus parts . Brand new now. Just wish I did it myself.

If i had all the S&W ‘s ive bought n sold over the yrs. i could retire. lol. I dont buy much anymore BUT, had to have this. got it awhile back. Performance Center 3” Carry Comp .357 with a Kramer holster. shoots damn good. carrys well OWB.

 

Afternoon1st week of this round of niteshift. ughhh. im tired,sore,grumpy and feel like crap. For all those still laying out GET A DAMN JOB and suck it up.

 

I’ve been eyeing one of those for a while. I don’t need it but I want it for some reason.

'evening everyone. I made a trip to Bass Pro shops today and took the GF with me. She has never been inside of one before, it was fun to watch her expressions as we walked through the store. We must have spent 20 minutes in the 'grand lodge' entrance.. she has never seen a fireplace that big before. I thought her mind was going to explode when she saw the big fish tank and all of the interior "buildings" inside.. She definitely a routine trip much more enjoyable.

 

Hey! Me too.....got measured this morning for an "unloader brace". They're going to call me in the morning to tell me how many banks I need to rob to get it

 

About a hour ago. No pics, too busy eating. Very good, baked potato, beans.....Mmmmmmmm.
I'll give you some lead time next time. I know the cheby will haul ass to get here.
