Howdy folks! I've been busy finishing up the woodstove repairs, gonna light off the 1st fire tonight, just to get a bit of burn time and to check everything out before needing to rely on the crusty old bugger to keep the hut warm at night. We're gonna hit freezing temps tomorrow night and through the rest of the week.

I made a purdy thing last Saturday. It was actually kind of fun since it was so hands-on. The GF asked me if I would go with her to a basket making class.. I was like :annoyed: at first, but after thinking about it for a short time I told her yes and that I'd approach it with an open mind. I'm glad that I did it. I don't know that I'd do another one, I couldn't stand the sound of the instructors voice or her total disorganized way of teaching.

    HqD0H9e2jO3X-4FeQW5m7jaeLoW7TiD7PkatDfos_77d154b4535879d0a94742bdc32009f51e54afac.jpg

I'm kinda proud of it, it turned out much better than I would have thought a 1st attempt could be. I did cause a bit of a stir when I was losing my patience with a certain step and I let out a loud-ish "JFC" ! The old ladies at the next table heard it and started laughing which caused the instructor to get mad because someone was "interrupting" her while she was talking.

I don't know why, but I've never been a fan of Steve. I think he's the President of the Narcissist Club of America...ahahahahaha. (Stuck up) LOL
I'd rather have Shaffiroff build me a motor. Texas Speed had done him well over the years tho.

    Evening all.

Today, I was able to visit my BIL at the rehabilitation hospital. First time they opened it up to visitors other than my sister and one nephew. He was able to finally stand up today 5 minutes. His goal is to walk over the threshold out of the hospital. I know he’ll do it!
