    My guess is that there is either an oxide layer or residue from tire and wheel cleaner on the rims that is causing the tape adhesive to fail. There are tire beads that go in the tire through the valve stem which balance the tire once the wheel is spinning. Maybe try some of those??

    Runner used to throw off weights within days. The clamp on type never held and the sticky weighs were better sometimes but it was always hit or miss. I think they used to hit the glue on the weights with a lighter to warm it and make it bond better. I also always insisted on road force balancing as it seemed to get the tires in balance better than any other method so that limited the amount of weights needed.

    nice!!! Half of my current kitchen here at the house is Wasserstrom stuff. After Bob Evans, I went on to be a chef/kitchen manager before I became a teacher. 5 years at The Rusty Pelican seafood restaurant and 5 at Holiday Inn Worthington. So I can't cook with stuff from regular stores. I am very picky about my kitchen stuff. I also miss those days in many ways.

    It's a small world right? That time in my life was a tornado. I was at Marion Power Shovel in Marion, Jeffrey Mining in Columbus, then Wasserstrom. Laid off 3 times in a year. Ended up in Lancaster and Joined the Navy after a layoff there 2 years later. Really never came back to Ohio. I figured they did not like me...ahahahahahhaha
