Good morning peoples... I saw the last bit of the eclipse around 5 am when I fed the woodstove, I couldn't see anything at 2:30 am. No red color, just a weird looking moon.

 

That's what utility sinks are for...

 

Yea not allowed to have sinks and floor drains here unless attached to sewer.

 

Sufficient privacy,,, can go outside and pee on a tree and no one cares/I’m not arrested.

 

Well the Truck being parked outside and the cold weather we've been experiencing finally took it's toll on the battery this morning . Ended up getting a new battery installed at Firestone , got a nice Interstate MTP 24F battery and now starts so much easier

 

They didn’t have them then at Lowe’s then so she ordered. Getting another delivered. Great big headache over a shovel. She likes it for the leaves for filling bags.
Because of my shoulder I can’t put a tarp on the bed , fill it and take to dump a d be done in three trips

I picked up a new pair today and my eyes are straining to adjust. They said it may take a few weeks.

 

The trees and bushes on my few acres are amply wetted. It's freeing to do so.

 

It shouldn’t take no way near that time

 

They are new kind of lens, called Neurolens. They are a contoured prism. I have permanent damage to my left retina, which has resulted in very limited vision, without a contact and glasses. The optometrist said it can take up to two weeks and so far, they have been a challenge. Of course I have only had them on for about 2 hours.
