    Once, our power was out for 8 days, after 90 mph winds came through. We had a small generator that powered some essentials. Still, it was a miserable experience. Best wishes Chuck for normalcy.

    Good morning all. Whether we are an anti-vaxxers or not the covid is reaching closer to me. My neighbor on the left got it 4 months ago and he wasn't vaccinated. Now my neighbor on the right has covid as I type this. He and his wife have been vaccinated. He doesn't sound too good on the phone. My family down in Georgia experienced a covid outbreak on Thanksgiving day, I wasn't down there at the time. Half of that family down there are anti-vaxxers and they all got it. Keep your distance from others and my advice is to weigh carefully on whether you get vaccinated or not. As for me I will.

    I'm a registered nurse, I work at Banner University Medical Center South Campus here in Tucson. We regulary have at least one patient die each night from Covid. The statistics are 95% of the people that come in with Covid were not vaccinated. 99% that die were not vaccinated. Being vaccinated does not mean you can't get Covid, but the statistics show it's much less likely, and with much better outcomes. In the hospital Covid is not something you recover quickly from, it takes weeks and might have life long symptoms. Personally, I don't want to live like that, but people still tell me Covid isn't real, and masks don't work. I view this as it's your choice, Darwin always wins out in the end, and thank you for the overtime caring for you.
