    We're at that age unfortunately that taking multiple pills per day is now the normal . I take 12 pills ea day just to keep my Parkinson's disease under control

    When I worked for Middle River Aircraft Systems, the Christmas shutdown was a gold mine for our group. ( Tool and Die ). The company had a traditional shut down from the 23rd to the Monday of the 1st full week of January. We always saved some big nasty jobs to do during the shutdown, so as not to disrupt other work cells during the regular work week. 8 hrs of holiday pay + double time up to 10 hrs a day for any work done during the shutdown, minimum of 4 hrs pay just for showing up. Our group lived there for those 2 weeks.

    I know a couple of guys that used to be in “Industrial Maintenance “, always worked for one of the “ Big 3” . They worked a lot of holidays, made crazy money. They retired early and well.
