    Morning. Below freezing the last few nights. Every 10 years, or so, we get a dusting of snow here in the foothills above Los Angeles. Looks like might get it this year.

    Got the newspaper box reattached, the mailbox is giving me a hard time with the door fitting. If I can find a Jumbo Rural mailbox around town would likely be easier to just replace it. The grape vines took a bit of a hit. 6" x 6" posts didn't move, frost line is 40" so they are sunk 48" to prevent frost heave. Couple of years ago when it stayed in the 20's below zero for 6 weeks frost line went down to 8' and everyone had to leave water trickling at the faucets to prevent pipes from freezing.

    The truck lost this round. Hopefully they will never go at it again LOL.
