Evening folks, it’s still snowing both white and yellow. Be a little easy on the weather forecasters, one side of town got 4” of snow, out where I live we got 10”

 

They brined ours yesterday. Snow is falling now, barely covering the road. I believe we are going to get an inch or two. Seems like overkill.

Yeah. That seems to be how just about everyone operates anymore. Damn lawyers.

 

The forecasters by me have it tough. The “Lake Effect Snow “ from Lake Michigan changes as the lake cools, wind direction is a big factor as well.

 

We actually have it similar here in western PA. Lake Erie gives us lake effect snow and it tends to come in bands, so that one area may get a few inches , where an area just 10 or so miles to the east or west gets hammered.

we get the snows off the Great Lakes too. but we call them clipper systems. they
break up on the mountains to the west. so usually a dusting - 2” from them.

 

So I'm guessing at least a 2 x 6 exterior wall, even for a single level house. ( Rancher or split level style)

If that snow is lite and fluffy, a leaf blower is great.

 

Had my echo cardogram today.
Just got the results and I do have a heart. Its working good except I have a leaky valve. They want to meet with a heart doc to discuss treatment. Thats all I know so far.

This last storm was supposed to give us 2 inches and be done by noon yesterday. Weatherman missed this one. I've plowed the driveway twice. Still having bands of snow coming through when I left for work this afternoon. Good thing is we didn't get the strong winds they predicted. Now comes the cold.

 

I would take all of your cold and snow in a second!!! I miss that kind of weather...and it misses us a lot!!

It is not fair that Tennessee had snow and C-bus doesn't...

 

I have extra patches

 

I also have a leak. My treatment is heart rhythm med, blood pressure med, and a baby aspirin - all to prevent a stroke.
