We don't actually remove snow in the south, we stay inside with our 8 loaves of bread and 12 gallons of milk that we ran out and bought until the snow's gone! :D

And, for those watching at home, we don't buy it to consume, but for entertainment value. We watch the bread mold and the milk sour.

Sitting in post opp, wife had a little surgery this morning. She had her thyroid worked on, Doc says everything went as planned, always a good thing. Very impressed with their Covid precautions, it’s a challenge keeping the knuckleheads under control. 2022, people think a mask in a hospital is not necessary.:annoyed:

I can handle the snow way better than I can handle the bitter cold (medical issues). I've been playing in the snow since I was a kid. I have shovels, big snowblower, 4x4 (me), AWD (wife), nice portable genny, oh, and a natural fireplace in case the boiler goes out. We could survive for a couple of weeks or more without leaving the house if it were absolutely necessary. And, of course, the storm is going to pass well beneath Michigan. :annoyed:

A tarp is a good idea but it would scratch the paint , also I already know about lifting the wiper arms off the windshield trick

I do have a nice two car garage but the Camaro and my Snap On roll away tool box are more important in keeping warm , dry and safe inside the garage

the truck wouldn't fit anyways it's 3" to long

    LOL !!!

Sorry, the wiper arm comment wasn't aimed at you. I just shake my head in disbelief when I'm driving through the snow and I see people chipping away at their frozen wipers..

The damn company that I had the interview with called 10 minutes before the interview to say that they need to reschedule and they would get back to me soon.... WTF.....

A little of this and a little of that.
Good grief, I hope I have enough beer, chips, and salsa to last out this snow/ice that's being predicted.

That’s what we do now at one time it was pile a crowd in the old 74 bronco chain a hood behind and try our best to kill ourselves on a road tile.

Oakland County. Just north of Detroit. I've got 23 acres and a cabin up in Isabella County and my son and his family have 10 acres near Silver Lake Dunes. I've got a sister just moved to GR last year but haven't been out to see the place yet due to Covid.

In Detroit in the mid sixties we called it “ shagging bumpers “, city never plowed, side streets turned into ice rinks. We would just grab on the back bumper with just your boots on, so much fun, so friggin dangerous. It was a “rite of passage “, only the big kids shagged bumpers.
