    Evening all !!!:hattip:

Had a not so fun day !! , was at the VA for my Neurology appt were they did a very thorough exam that took almost 1 hour to complete . They then ordered a battery of tests starting with an upcoming Nerve conduction study then a series of Genetic testing for identifying abnormalities in my DNA structure that might be causing my neurological disorder

Another option is having Neurological physical therapy to help retrain my damaged nervous system . Also they looked at my last MRI of my brain and found a large cyst that was told about last year at the VA in Socal . The doctors in Nashville believe the Neuropathy could be from that cyst but not sure until more tests are ordered . They also mentioned after I told them that another possibility is chemical exposure from the Military from TCE / PCE Solvents or Agent Orange

Next is were the day got better , I was told to go to the lab for blood work and urine sample . As I'm getting ready for the blood draw I see nine collection tubes and to me that's the most they ever collected from me . Then I see a large needle collection tube the Lab worker called her large gun . She inserts it into my vein and immediately feel pain and discomfort . I then hear her say the needle rolled out of the vein and I see blood all over my arm

She quickly stops the bleeding then finishes the remaining tubes with butterfly needle in another location on my arm . By that time my ears are ringing and feeling light headed and was told by another person my skin was very white and I passed out . Next thing I know ER workers are helping me into a wheelchair and find myself in the ER . They take my BP 89 / 82 which was very low and for caution they had me sit in the wheelchair for about 45 minutes until the BP came back up and I was released to go home

My guess would the the last sentence with possible lead exposure from any time spent on base. Don't get your hopes up, there is a medical condition of 'Undiagnosed Neurological Disorder'. Sorry.

    WAS SHE NEW?
Sheesh. I've had PICC lines run without a "missed it" and DV draws (they hurt like hell but only for a couple of minutes) so many times without incident it ain't funny. A couple of times they thought they saw a good one but the caution of "THAT'S A ROLLER, YA BETTER KNOW WHAT YER DOIN'" has flown out of my mouth and they either did know what they were doing or left for a better vein. Man. Sorry to hear you had to have that kind of day.

The Neurologist asked when the TCE / PCE exposure or possible Agent Orange exposure was .I told her from 1981-84 and my squadrons hangar were the solvent plume originated from . Also solvent exposure in my Armory . She told me it's going to be hard to determine chemical exposure from 48 yrs ago but she'll investigate it

The Plebotomist looked like she new what she was doing but seemed distracted somewhat during my blood draw . I've been getting blood draws for many years using a Butterfly needle and never had the larger set up until today

It's not that it's hard to determine - the military is cock blocking you from collecting on any and all past lawsuits from exposure to individual chemicals which can be detected on a DNA run.

Those are DV (deep vein) daws and you need someone who never says a word, in intently looks at both arms and goes to work. The only other thing I can think of is she was concerned your vein would collapse doing that much of a draw or you have scar tissue from so many draws a butterfly would have taken too long.
Learning the hard way I guess (her, not you)

That's what I'm hoping that the Genetic test will detect the Solvent exposure

She was having a difficult time getting the blood to flow using the larger needle

So are running 30.5" tire now, are you looking to go up to a 32" or 33" tire?

It will - but they might not tell you unless it's a more common solvent
Either too deep or hit scar tissue, hope you don't have that happen again. Rotate which arm had the last draw to minimize this issue.
Same size I've been running since I bought the truck, I think it has 11 yr old Goodyear AT's on them. Summer rotation with Toyo's for dry weather, not a fan of Coops unless they are sitting on a tree :burnrubber:

Damn, that's a big jump in size, almost a 34" tire. You'll need a 3" lift, UCAs, and a CMC to fit them.
