I didn't need a cmc, but you will need new wheels with more backspace.unless you don't plan on turning

I would stay with 265 and save the gas mileage.

What was your magic wheel/tire combination? I don't know anyone running 33's or larger that hasn't needed a CMC.

My 2012 Double Cab has been stock height since I got it, saggy flat rear springs since I've had it, just my son's equipment trailer alone makes it drag ass and I hate that. I also don't like the factory nose down stature and would like to have slightly wider tires, on the front that will cause rub if I don't level the truck. Wife is vertically deficient, so too high would be a problem for her to get in and out also. I don't need a high end rock climber or mud bogger, extra travel shocks and all that. I use it primarily about the property, get critter food, and occasional romp on a swamp trail, cause that's all we have here in my area of Florida. I also am a cheap SOB and don't don't want to sink a $2K on a solution..

Looking at solutions they vary in cost and mfg. Do any of you have a leveling kit you like and or have that suits this set up I described. I spoke to Dan and discussed his 2013... I need more input for Gen 2.5s from this crowds perspective, experience and skill level..

I was happy with the OME 885 springs, shocks and Dakar rear leafs on my 2011. I had SPC UCA’s. It settled at 2.5” and was level. Rode great and didn’t eat tires.
I’m trying to figure out what lift to go with on my regular cab truck.
I agree with @dewayne and recommend calling Headstrong and let them know what you want.

Im running @2” lift with adj. bilstiens up front and 3leaf add a leaf in the back. and SCS F5 rims to get my tires out just a tad.had to go to clamshell bushing on front driver side pumpkin and dropped the carrier bearing alittle for the 2 piece drive shaft..decent setup unless you truley do off roading then may want a more rugged setup.

Evening all !!!

Had a not so fun day !! , was at the VA for my Neurology appt were they did a very thorough exam that took almost 1 hour to complete . They then ordered a battery of tests starting with an upcoming Nerve conduction study then a series of Genetic testing for identifying abnormalities in my DNA structure that might be causing my neurological disorder

Another option is having Neurological physical therapy to help retrain my damaged nervous system . Also they looked at my last MRI of my brain and found a large cyst that was told about last year at the VA in Socal . The doctors in Nashville believe the Neuropathy could be from that cyst but not sure until more tests are ordered . They also mentioned after I told them that another possibility is chemical exposure from the Military from TCE / PCE Solvents or Agent Orange

Next is were the day got better , I was told to go to the lab for blood work and urine sample . As I'm getting ready for the blood draw I see nine collection tubes and to me that's the most they ever collected from me . Then I see a large needle collection tube the Lab worker called her large gun . She inserts it into my vein and immediately feel pain and discomfort . I then hear her say the needle rolled out of the vein and I see blood all over my arm

She quickly stops the bleeding then finishes the remaining tubes with butterfly needle in another location on my arm . By that time my ears are ringing and feeling light headed and was told by another person my skin was very white and I passed out . Next thing I know ER workers are helping me into a wheelchair and find myself in the ER . They take my BP 89 / 82 which was very low and for caution they had me sit in the wheelchair for about 45 minutes until the BP came back up and I was released to go home

I'm running 285s with SCS wheels, -4.5 backspace.

But I have the lr ucas moved forward to avoid the cab mount

At 59 I can still do it. I am in the process of tiling the bathroom floor and the entryway. The cost to do this project is ~$350.00 give or take. A 4.5 inch grinding wheel with a stone blade is all I need to cut the tile to fit. The good thing is I can start stop whenever I feel like it.
