South beach or Atkins are hard to do. So hard to go carb free or very low carb.

:annoyed: why can't SC ban firecrackers!!!

Yep they are setting them off around here now and the dogs are going nuts, they sound like a gunshot and the dogs expect a bird. It is 4 degrees outside?! And I am surrounded by PhD's (Piled Higher and Deeper) and MD's. You would think they would know better. Or not....

Agree Happy New Years everyone! 2130 here about bedtime LOL.

Once again I find myself totally agreeing with you Susan. Mn. has outlawed them but the Wi. border isn't that far away unfortunately. Hang in there and give the pups a hug. But don't lift them unless you have to!!!

No, no lifting. I just sit on the floor with them. Although it doesn't really help them. One year I distracted them with a knuckle bone... big mistake - they paid for it the next day and a half. upset their tummies :(

Yep they have to be used to bones especially knuckle bones. In special cases like this I use bully sticks, but not too many. You want the no odor ones. Kind of gross if you know what they are, but they really do work and are worth the price to me. Both are laying at my feet right now and sound asleep. I'm afraid to move LOL.

Forgot to say, my old boy I sit on the floor and rub him and make him purr like a kitten, he loves it. Not that I want a cat... :)

Nice try but I couldn't read letters 3 inches tall without my reading specs. Up to 3.25 magnifiers.

Wasn't fond of saurkraut as a kid. I remember asking my mother, "How could something you hate to eat be a good way of bringing in a new year?". Didn't work, had to eat it anyway.

York county is adjacent to Adams County, where I grew up. My grandfather was a 8th generation farmer and sold the farm to the neighboring dairy farmer, gave my father .75 acres to build a house on. So I grew up surrounded by thousands of acres of dairy farm land, 7 miles outside of Gettysburg. Pretty cool way to grow up. BTW.... I possess the original deed to the land my ancestors farmed.... signed by William Penn himself, transferred and dated 1796.
