Good Morning Folks

Spring returns later today with rain.

Got home a little while ago.from the VA and found out my left knee is completely trashed . I've got alot of inflammation , torn meniscus , all my ligaments shredded or frayed and the Femur and Tibia show arthritic degenerative worn areas . Will definitely need a knee replacement and ligaments repaired but also unsure of the hyper extension issue on how to treat the knee

So a Orthopedic surgeon is called into the examination room to examine me and agrees the knee needs surgical treatment .He then has me walk without my brace on so he can see how bad the hyper extension is . He told me that my hyper extension is so bad that I would destroy a normal knee replacement in short time . Even a hinged knee replacement won't work and if either knee replacement fails then the only option is above the knee amputation

So as of now they're going to try steroid knee injections , PT and a different knee brace for the next 4 months and see if any improvement is noticed . So unless my nerve disorder improves I will be in more pain as the knee joint get worse and unable to barely walk without a cane or walker !!

Good morning folks! All the morning chores belong to me for the next couple weeks the wife made it to salt lake yesterday evening. Her and another lady on the board were accepted into the course best friends animal sanctuary puts on. But they flew in several days early to beat around Utah some. I believe they are headed to Moab today. I’m the one usually gone so I’m going to use the opportunity to take my p back she’s always been daddy’s girl until a couple transports ago She started getting off daddy’s lap and crawling on her momma!

Good Day Everyone!

Spring weather, cloudy with threat of rain but will clear off and warm to 60'ish.

Had a "Er, wut? lol" moment last night...house owner was dropped off by a friend, had a few too many martoonies, he headed for bed immediately, I was still on the computer, noticed he came out for some water and asprin but forgot clothing.
It was and in the same moment.

Made strong death wish coffee and breakfast for him this morning.

Good afternoon old folks. Woke up to 17* with a wind chill of 11* this morning. Spent last week in Hilton Head with daily temps in the low to mid 70s. This cold just feels rude now. lol

We had a nice week in SC. Saw more alligators than I used to see when I lived in southern Florida 38 years ago. They followed me up and down the banks while fishing the freshwater lagoons. They would stop 5' directly in front of me hoping to steal a fish. Being the smartass I am I was joking with my wife and cast a line in a lagoon right from our deck and caught a 20" largemouth bass. Caught lots of fish and saw lots of wading birds. We also saw lots of dolphins in the channel on one of the "nature tours" boats. Really wished we had brought our golf clubs. Next year we'll probably drive down instead of flying so we can take everything we want for the week.

It might be cheaper to buy new clubs or rent them down there than the gas bill for driving would be.

couole things to mention:

if anyone things modern industrial interiors with exposed ducts are cool… think again. One day, you, spouse, SO, future home occupant will want to repaint (because someone down the ownership chain picked some wretched color and now it’s got to go)
Wanna talk about a PITA?!? Barely a 3” gap behind, and maybe 4-6” gap above. You better have lots of patience, lots of time or lots of money to hire someone with said qualities. It’s downright maddening. If you DIY it, plan on suicidal thoughts… cutting in the walls is the absolute worst.

Omaha sunrises are pretty if you’re up for them.
