Good Morning Andy

 

It was a beautiful drive to take my granddaughter to school today! Longs Peak got fresh snow last night.

 

My wife and I loaded our cabover camper and headed for Alaska 2 days after I retired. It was an awesome 2 1/2 month adventure! You are going to have a grand time! I would suggest you wait until August, because until then the state birds (mosquitoes) can be brutal!

I would have liked to been able to do that but the yard was still mushy when I started getting the rounds, I didn't want to drive across the yard to the woodshed so I staged everything at the end of the driveway.

 

Good morning folks!! It’s been cool here this morning could have used these temps this past weekend. I get to Vermont and it’s in the 90s I decided to not stay another night and fish I was hoping for cooler temps that far north Mother Nature needs to get with the program.

Fixin' to storm... out to the back porch to watch nature's fury

 

A road trip from the lower 48 to Alaska would have been a much more exciting experience before they paved the AlCan Highway many years ago. I went up it in 1978 with my family ( I was 11), my dad drove, all the way from Los Angeles to Anchorage. AlCan highway was the best part of the entire drive.

 

Same here Bill , I have some very nasty looking clouds coming up from the South and the wind is starting to gust

 

Afternoon everyone, sun is shining, with a slight drizzle and breezy. I’m sitting on the deck watching for the woodpeckers.

 

Some of the clouds rolling by me don’t look friendly, sun just popped back out again.

 

I live about 30 miles from Lake Michigan, things can get sporty pretty quick.

Thanks , we like it, kinda woodsy for a subdivision. We have one of the bigger lots, almost an acre.

 

No bad weather here. Lotta rain. Maybe 1" in 45minutes

Had to recal before every use.
Plus they were sticking.
