    Morning folks,

Hope everyone is safely back to work today, or whatever those retired folks DO!!

Survived Top Gun 4DX yesterday, that was an interesting amusement ride!! Seats moved, vibrate, spray water on you and speakers deafen anyone that hasn't been around Jet Engines all your life already!! I'd do it again, gimmicky but hey, what else do I have to do in my old age!!

After the movie I went out to see my hero! My Dad, WWII, Korea, VNam eras veteran, he made it back from all of them but passed in 96, I miss him tremendously. I went from going to cemetery once a week to once a month, to twice a year.. I wish I could go more but it's all the way on the other side of Orlando.

    Y'all have a great day!!

    RJ

good morning to all as well.

Last day of "The Grind" for me...then....SUMMER!!! Where I am actually at school more during the day than in the regular school year, but I don't have to wear dress clothes and can get there at 10 instead of 7....

hope all were able to find some quiet moments to reflect on Lost Heroes, and to embrace current ones!!!

this heat and humidity can go away though...

Are they wire chewers? I didn’t know to be on the watch for them when we came out last year but I probably would have noticed if something was very interested in my truck though.

    3 but still...ugh.
Also requested a meeting with 3 people 1st thing this morning to catch me up on stuff. All 3 accepted the invite. 2 are out today and the 3rd person asked if it was ok to move the meeting to tomorrow. Said "fine, so long as everyone understands that means I'm doing nothing until then."

Big chewers. I could hear their little claws tapping on the plastic bits under the hood. Started banging on the quarter panel and 2 jumped down. Still heard tapping so I popped the hood and had one wedged between the battery and firewall. Had to get a stick and shoo him out that way. They even got underneath the plastic cowl that goes over the engine block. Had to pop that loose to check they didn't leave anything behind.
They don't like the smell of peppermint/spearmint So I had some essential oils I sprinkled in there before turning in for the night (would close the hood at night) and then left the hood up as much as possible during the day.

    Mantle

Mantles are bigger, don't have face stripes, and have two sets of stripes on their sides vs chipmunks that have stripes on their backs.
Technically Alvin and the Chipmunks are mantles.

Whenever I'm at my Brothers house I see chipmunks or squirrels ?? everywhere I've even seen them climb onto my tires of my truck trying to get into the engine compartment . If I know they're in my truck I either will activate my car alarm or remote start my truck using my key fob . It's funny seeing them running from my truck when I do that
