Our "local" garbage company is actually part of Waste Connections (was originally Waste Management until a Federal lawsuit forced them to break off their locations in certain states into a "new" company, hence Waste Connections), and they work 363 days a year - every day except for Christmas and New Year's Days. So even though this last weekend was Memorial Day weekend for us normal folks, they didn't miss their regular pickup schedule.

    Jeebus...
Just called to make an appointment with my allergy doc. Allergies are flaring up a little more than I'd like.
Soonest they can get me in is September.
Doesn't do me a lot of good seeing as how my peak allergy season is now thru July.
Never had an issue getting in before, usually they'd have me booked in a week or less.

    Ok,

Now DOUBLE up on your essential oil's "list" with enough peppermint to bath in....:wave::wave::wave:

I will admit nothing :rofl:BUT since allergy season last about 9-10 months here in Florida :anonymous: Peppermint has replaced Pharmaceutical's  leaves me more $$$$ for Bourbon :yay::yay:

And for the Doctor's visit, send them a copy of that Pin-up Calendar you have a few post earlier :devil::devil::devil::devil::devil:

OK, going back quiet before the HAMMA' comes out :hattip:

The peppermint is for the rodents, not me
Also cheapskate tip : Zzzquil sleepaid is diphenhydramine AKA Benadryl. Wal-Mart generic Zzzquil is about 1/4 the cost of brand name Benadryl because one tablet is a full dose vs two of the ones marketed for allergies
    Made it!

image.jpg This works for me and you can get it at Sam’s now reasonable if I don’t use it get ready for a sinus infection. I’m allergic to grass of all things and a couple tree pollens. But the only people that have more grass cutting to do is people that do it for a living. Sux to be me in the dry dusty part of summer!

pine trees and sage brush are my nemesis - great i live in MT where 90% of the ground is covered by one or the other! and they both peak pollination in early july so i get a double whammy. my allergy tests for grass came back minimal but something gets me everytime i head a lawn mower start up. three yards in my hood got mowed today AND the city was by to mow the "grass" along the right of ways in the hood. that did me in.
i wrapped up my allergy shots in early 2020 and i've been doing good the last couple summers. based on the last week or so i'm getting a little worried. seems like things are hitting me harder this year for some reason. just hope i didn't waste 5 years and $15k doing the shots....

i usually just take a zyrtec for the so so days, allerga d 12 hour on the bad days and maybe a benedryl on top of that for the really bad days. nasal sprays never seemed to help but i do have some flonase laying around somewhere. my eyes are usually the hardest to get under control. zatidor has been my go to for a while now but you gotta do it every day regardless of allergy symptoms, something about it needing to build up in your system for the full effect.

Tomorrow my phone is a device to listen to audible!! These girls have run me ragged in their absence. I have all the ingredients for some clam chowder or a steak dinner I went and reupped my bourbon so I see no reason I should have to leave the property tomorrow unless it’s my decision. I also have some leftover beer in the camper I believe I have all the necessities to survive a day or two.

It’s basically generic Flonase but it’s all over the counter these days your right it’s every day to get it in your system or it does no good. You can get it at sam’s 6at a time for the price of two every where else.

Probably not as bad as it was with Amazon these days. But living in the east I find myself on these transports I do noticing that the places that speak to me are the less populated areas I go. So I would probably swap with you in a heartbeat. 7B340F72-E972-4AEA-B17E-04A49B1DBADB.jpgOnyx and I have people skills that could use a little work he likes the wife and I and that’s pretty much it.
