I had my 3rd heart attack Monday, at work. Had gone to use the porta john and was walking back to the building when I started having trouble breathing, broke out in a sweat all over and had stabbing pains in my chest and pressure like a knife blade digging into my back by my shoulder blade. Made it to the loading dock and sat down, managed to radio a co worker who came down and called 911. I had my nitro so they started giving me that; once the ambulance got there I was wheeled away and taken to the hospital. EKG showed a lower MI. My blood pressure was 63/35. They did 3 stents in the cath lab, the attending physician told me I should’ve been sent to the hospital downtown for open heart surgery. I guess that’s the next time… Came home Thursday afternoon.

I knew something was off when we started onsite about a month ago. I’d make it up three sets of stairs and would have to stop, my heart pounding with a weird “tingling” pain in my chest and my left hand would go tingly numb. I’d have to wait about 5 minutes and then everything would calm down and I’d be fine until the next time I had to go up the stairs. Walking around on a flat surface was fine and no issue.

I'm glad you survived. Maybe next time you're feeling warn out and tingly you'll take heed of what your body is telling you.:argue: After three of them, you're damn near an expert and should know to seek some medical assistance before the fourth heart attack happens. :boink:

it’s weird because the other two heart attacks I had terrible pain in my left arm and nowhere else. First one was from shoveling snow, second one was from a clot that formed a week prior from knee surgery.
5 more years and I can retire after a 40 year run. I’d like to do it now but I know I won’t get a disability ruling from social security.
