We stayed at the next park down stream a couple years ago and floated the river in kayaks fishing for redbreast. Givens ferry state park.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good evening everyone,

    I see one…

I spent 25 years on night shift, and have been straight dayshift for 8 years now. I hope you can get the dayshift permanently.

    Awesomeness!

    :woot:Enjoy the Sunshine State Steve!

Always good to get the first day done without any issues.

    Very nice! Neighbor has talent.

Happy belated birthday to you Jim.

I decided to skip the lawn mower and do something more meaningful. It was high time to start doing the biggest repairs to the rear deck, the whole thing is past due for a date with 5 gallons of diesel fuel and a match but who has any money for that? Not this hillbilly.

Relax, this system is OSHA compliant and time tested...

That was necessary to replace these..

    This happened last Friday.

I got 3 12' 2x12's into the bed of the Taco. I really would have loved to have my old '98 K1500 for jobs like that. So 3 stringers, a single 8' 2x6 ( I need 9 more to make the treads. The entire pile of lumber at Lowes was so bad I wouldn't use it for the treads), 4 joist hangers and a box of Teco nails.. $175.

Our local Home Depot is the same way most of the lumber there wouldn’t make a good fire!

washed Toy. 20 minutes, easy peasy. his wax seems to be holding up since he's pampered and gets to stay in a nice garage all the time so he's tucked back in for the night.
then rinsed the pollen off Chebby and dried him. Again. And waxed him. And washed the windows inside and out.
need to do the floormats and dust inside but i'm pooped. calling it a night and taking 5.

A couple of rear window decals...
    Happy Belated Birthday!

I know your pain, I had to rebuild much of my rear deck in 2020. I need to do the front porch as well, but the lumber is still too damn expensive. I rebuilt the front steps last year, that will have to do until prices get better or I get a really big raise...

    Good morning >50.
As recently published here are a bunch of galaxies that was observed by the new Webb telescope. The spot that telescope fixated on was no larger than a grain of sand held out at army length. All of those galaxies fit into that image that small. Very recently there was an estimation of 24 trillion galaxies. Are there 24 trillion grains of sand on planet earth?
