    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

Cooler and less humid air coming down from Canada today.:canada:
    For a few days.

    Work
I was told that I would be training a new apprentice. I ask why me, every time I bring up a concern on any issue I get treated like,,"Your just a 2nd shifter, you don't know anything."
I'll train this person and give 100% effort in it, because I want him to be as good as me or better.
The thing I like about 2nd shift is the people I work with, they appreciate what I do for them.
But still, retirement is looking real good, but still 5 years off, I hope.

    Have a nice day:thumbsup:

You keep your logic out of this forum! It's neither needed, or appreciated.

Anyone here watching Nat Geo Shark fest this week ???

Last night's show they had the massive Great White Shark named Deep Blue that was found off the coast of Oahu near Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head . They also mentioned another shark named Haoli Girl they found . I believe Haoli Girl is actually Deep blue and was misidentified

My Brother has told me since he lives in Hawaii that there is two other massive Great White Sharks that frequent the area and both are over 3k lbs and 20ft long . One is named Niuhi and the other is named kainani

Morning peeps, I came home at 5pm to a power outage last night. I was driving through some pretty serious thunderstorms but didn't think much of it until I stops at the local pizza joint to grab a steak sub for dinner. They're closed, no power. They're about 4 miles from home. I get closer to home and none of the traffic lights are working. No power on my street but the stench and noise of portable generator exhaust is strong. I grab my cooler and head to the local sheetz, they're "open" w/ emergency generator running, but cash only as the registers can't process cards. I grab a 20# bag of ice and head towards the next biggest town, Westminster. I swear, the scenes on the back roads looked like something out of a sci-fi disaster movie in regards to uprooted/broken trees, toppled tractor sheds, blown over mail boxes, ect.. I'm guessing that a 'nader might have touched down.

I'm on the way to work in a few, the power came back on sometime around 3am. I got about no sleep because of the generator noise. I hope that anyone else around my area is safe.
