I hope that it passes quick and painlessly. I hope that this crap goes back into the crack from hell that it escaped from.

 

deck update- I need to reframe most of it, the rim joists are in worst shape then I first thought. As I started to replace the one where the stairs attach, it just opened up a bigger can of shit. All of the rim joists are done and 5 of the joists have about 3" of sag in the middle along with full depth check cracks and some rot on the top where the decking touches. Sigh....



These don't look bad until you squeeze it with your hand, then you see the wood moving. It's done.

 

Bummer, hopefully your symptoms are mild, and you'll be back on top of things soon!

 

I suppose I should count myself lucky, I only had to replace one joist when I rebuilt my deck.

 

I'm sagging a lot too!! My big arse ain't coming over till it's done, I wouldn't want to be the reason for the collapse!!
