First day of fall but summer has returned to the Gulf Coast. Yesterday while I was working outside the temp and humidity started climbing, heat index was 103 when I broke for lunch. I finished cleaning up and was whipped by 2:00. More in the forecast for today and through the weekend. We do have a cool front pushing through next week and bringing the temps back down to “normal, fall hot.” I’ll finish trimming the tree then. Going to float in the pool now.

 

Good to hear that the drill has been postponed and a table top review is planned!

 

I got an Instapot for Christmas a couple of years ago. It's been great! Works just like my crockpot if you plan ahead, but you can also use it as a pressure cooker when you don't. So if you want pot roast for dinner, but forgot to put in 8 hours ago you can still have it tonight.

 

Happy Thursday everyone! It's the lunch time computer break.. It's dark and the sky is filled with the rain clouds, we've already had a few heavy downpours. The lawn will have to wait to get cut, it will be too wet today.
