Run a good wireless router mesh setup. Cheaper, not subject to exterior penetrations, and just as fast and reliable. I just put in a TPLINK DECO 6E 3AP mesh for under $500. I'm covering 3K square feet, and I can go down the street to the next court and still get excellent wifi. I run my wireless cameras around my property with no issues streaming 4K.

Yes, people worry about others stealing thier wifi, but a good password is all you need and you can hide the SSID so no one can see it.

My neighbors kid was trying to break into my wifi, he was stupid like that, and I renamed it FBI van. He was dumb enough to come outside and walk around the block looking for it.

Sometimes the wall construction has metal lath, sometimes phone or microwave will interfere.
Cables fail, especially if it is outside. And then you replace it again. A router will last 10 years or more and software can be upgraded and it can be controlled through your phone.

I wired the whole house and had a network rack and servers for movies and music and pictures.

Now I have a modem, router and a portable hard drive

why do people do that? i mean, you can surrender an animal to any shelter with no questions asked and no financial obligation right?

HEPA filters for my air purifier - got to keep the quilt dust down now that quilting season is upon us!

He was asking about the batteries for your clock, not the HEPA filters. You should change HEPA filters on a regular basis throughout the year, not just during quilting season.
