    So work got officially weird today, there was a semi-serious discussion about looking at using work release inmates to fill some of the manufacturing positions, because no one wants to work the craptastic 3 1/2 day work production schedule. 3-12's and a half day, alternating 2nd shifts ( more like a split 1st shift) and weekends.

    at my last job they tried that at one point - work release or parolees. didn't really work out. couple of the guys were OK but most were too unreliable. and of course if they dont show HR has to report it immediately. that was a whole other nightmare. couple guys got picked up by the cops mid shift and we never saw them again.
    and my current job tried getting some guys from Mexico on work visas. the key to that was you had to show a seasonal fluctuation in work to require them and you had to provide housing for them. they were actually pretty cool, worked damn hard. didn't speak a word of english so it was hard to communicate but if you tried to include them in anything they were very appreciative. one did run away - they eventually found him in Ohio or something :laugh:

    A little sore today and I've been icing it alot , think I over did it in PT . Won't know what my Ortho doctor wants do about the swelling . My next Ortho visit is on the 22nd of December
