All that new electronics is needed now in today's Drag race cars if you want to be consistent especially if you're an index racer or bracket racer

So, technically, if you use just wire one pull over to the break out panel, that would be some big, honkin wire. Probably just better off to pull three.

    What's a choke LOL !!!

all of my carbs have milled choke horns and are fun to get started on cold days and trying to keep running without fuel fouling a plug . Plus my timing is locked out and set at 42deg total so that puts a lot of stress on the starter

I'm running a MSD 7AL2 box , you touch the wrong wire while the engines running you'll think twice the next time you're close to that wire

Cool day here with temps in the low 60's with overcast skies , we've got a weak storm front passing thru so no rain just cooler temps

Going to head to the malls today to see if any good deals to be had . Also still trying to find a Christmas wreath for the Tacoma that's not huge and won't cover up the entire grill and front license plate

Don't let them fool you that is Chicago. They just propped the cup up until it froze in place over time. I did graduate from boot camp Jan 27 1978 in Great Mistakes just North of Chicago during the great blizzard and it was -22 so yeah it can get cold there too. Moose can testify that when it gets in the 20's below zero you can throw a cup of coffee in the air and it will freeze before it hits the ground. Blowing soap bubbles with one of those kids kits is fun, they only go a short distance and then freeze solid and drop to the ground and crack. Hey you have to try and find entertainment where you can when it gets bone shattering cold.

I have cooked beans and canned soup on the exhaust headers of my FJ55 many years ago, highly recommend opening them first... Actually the Admiral suggested them at the last minute and the command decision was made to eat them cold. Was busy cutting cabbage for the slaw and didn't put a lot of thought into it, so that is how they ended up. They would have tasted better served from a bowl though :)

I'd heard that a while ago :( and the prices for mutts now is outrageous!!!! Although they aren't called "mutts" anymore

    aka, Monk parrots.
We have a pile of them way up here for the last 40-50 years.
Nobody knows exactly how they ended up in this area, but urban legend says they escaped from one of the NYC airports.
Cool to see them this far North, but are regarded as an invasive species.
Farmers just North of me aren't too fond of them as they'll wipe out an orchard in no time.
A 3-5 hundred pound nest/condo built over transformers cause havoc with the power companies. Birds ain't stooopit, they know how to keep warm.
Usually ends up in court. Power company vs. bird lovers regarding destruction of nests.

Are you going down last chance? that's always fun. If you stay at the Ricardo campground, talk to the Ranger, Mike is a great guy and a member on TW.

There is a group of us that hit Mojave and Death Valley, I will let you know when the next outing is.

Holy shit!! Sounds like you deal with them a lot. Yeah they're thick here, and squawk like Hell! 10-4 on the condo-Nests. A park patron has one for a pet and she claims it's well behaved. Hard to believe. They sell the babies in the local classifieds. It's fun too watch them hang upside down from the wires!

They actually cause utility pole fires due to the nests built around the transformers.
