It's coming. I see the forecast for the Vikings game is for wind chills of -20. I assume you will be watching from the warm confines of your home. I once went to a Pats at Ravens game, Sunday Night Football... froze my little ass off... 20 degrees with a 30 mph wind. I'm an Eagles fan, there because my gf liked the Pats. What a long damn night that was!

Yep and I will be tailgating from my deck. Supposed to snow until 1 AM tonight then the temp drop like a rock, high of 10 tomorrow and a high of -2 on Sunday. All this heavy wet snow will turn to solid ice so timing on getting it out of the driveway is going to be a PITA.

I like Seattle too so if, or most would say when, the Vikes lose that would be OK. Whoever can beat the Pats is fine by me

 

LOL, and this is a mild winter. Someplace that stayed ~70* all year would be about perfect IMO. But would have to have great trout fishing and plenty of ruff grouse and pheasants for the dog to chase too! And water, lots of water for the dog to swim. Of course then everyone would want to live there...

 

San Diego is the closest I have seen at being around 70 degrees all year around.

 

Did somebody say birch beer? This place is local to me and they make great soda on site including birch beer.

This was the 5000 ft mountains behind my house yesterday. And that's all as far as snow here. If the cold and rain are just right it will drop down to 1500 ft.

 

I hope we get some snow this year.... only got ice last year.

also for no gully washers for the foreseeable future..... a few of the road shoulders they fixed in Oct need fixing again. Don't know why it's so bad - we've gotten gully washers that haven't caused any damage

 

I would guess all that flooding "loosened" things up quite a bit and stuff is still settling ... totally guessing, no science.

Howdy Folks! 43 degrees and damp here in the north-central part of Kentucky. @ work for a while this morning, trying to get things in order for when I'm off work in the coming days. Got a go in for some surgery....Checking in on Wed. Surgery is Thursday. I will be taking off tomorrow, Sunday being a normal work day for me....Gonna spend a day with the wife. The next couple weeks won't be much fun, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.... Local weather guessers are saying snow tomorrow. Maybe an inch....Calling for teens and 20's for next week. Good time to be stuck indoors I suppose.
