It's in the teens this morning and I'm going for a ride this morning on my fat bike



I'll swap out the 3" carbon summer wheelset for the aluminum winter set with 4.8" studded tires.

 

I used to race BMX. Have many trophies around somewhere, lol

Morning 50s. Went out last evening with friends to a fairly local pub. Got my growler filled with my favorite Red Rock lager. Nice laid back place, had a man and woman playing guitar singing. Good time we needed this. Happy Sunday all.

Phone rang at 0500 and off to work I went. Another co-worker came down with the Covids, so the operation was low manpower. I was looking forward to an easy, laid back day. Oh well.

That’s a great looking 4Runner. I still think it’s a shame that a V8 isn’t an option.

Good morning. Playing hooky from church to lumberjack again today. A friend asked for help taking down some trees. Yesterday I climbed an old growth cedar, limbed it, and put a cable in it. It was over 100’ tall. Today I will cut it down. It will be a little tricky as the circumference is 17’ around. That’s about 65” in diameter and I have a 28” bar on my chainsaw. I might need to cut it a little higher up where it starts to narrow. Wish me luck. Stay Well…Stay Safe

 

Damn, it was cold again last night, low of 28* and this is my last morning in Florida for this trip. I’ll head back home this afternoon. Where it’s been even colder.
