I took today off because wifey's Grand Cherokee goes in for rear brakes today. I know, I would do them myself normally but it's winter here and I don't have a garage to work in. I'm a gravel driveway shade-tree mechanic. Off to Costco after to spend $$ I don't have LOL!

Morning all! Rain here today in Virginia. I'm fortunate that I moved in 2019 right before the shtf and ended up in a neighborhood where I don't see neighbors and don't have to worry about porch pirates!
Also it never gets cold enough in this region to go ice fishing, but dang....I wanna try that!

Good morning. Back to work today. Another Dr.’s appointment today but it’s virtual. I really enjoy these. When it looks like a TV show it’s easier to tune out the doc when he tells you you’re fat, your A1C is elevated, and your cholesterol is too high. If it gets really bad I’ll just change the channel. He always tells me I'm fine.

Forecast was 4-8 inches of snow. We got about 2-3 of wet heavy stuff. Perfect snow for making snowmen.

 

Sounds like my General Healthcare doctor at the VA in Socal. He was always on me for being overweight and not eating healthy . This doctor was the same age as me and he would have a open energy drink can on his desk and a candy bar in his pocket or desk

 

My chubby p.c., who is the exact same age as me, used to sheepishly talk to me about my weight, but he would so apologetically, commenting on his weight as well. Then, he lost about 50 pounds. I don't know how. Now, he never talks to me about my weight.
