    I lost my driver's license about 6 weeks ago. Had it with me when I got in my truck to go to Lowe's - wasn't in my pocket when I reached the checkout line (I show it to the clerk to get my 10% Military discount). I re-traced my steps back to the one and only aisle I went to in the store, the parking lot, even my drive home.... never found it. Called the store Lost + Found a couple times over the next week, no one had found and turned it in. Also tore my truck apart looking fo rit, not there either.

    Comical part was I already had a DMV appointment for the next day to get a new license with our new address on it, so I didn't bother with trying to find it any longer. Still no idea what happened to it.

    Last weekend I had a WTF! experience with a restaurant. There is a small chain of 3 Mexican restaurants in our town, all run by the same family. We've eaten at one a few times, decent food. We decided it was time to get some Mexican food for dinner. I was running an errand at the other end of town form the location we usually go to, and I knew one of their locations was only a couple blocks from where I was, so I went online and ordered from that location closest to where I already was (we had not previously been to this location).

    I get there, tell them who I am, that I have a To Go order. They ask "did you call it in?"
    "No, I ordered over the internet".
    "Oh, we aren't set up to receive internet orders at this location, so your order went to the other location, across the street from WalMart."

    Me: ........ o_O
    Drive to other location (the one we usually go to). "Hi, I have an internet order for the other location, but they told me they can't receive internet orders, and that it must have come to this location."
    "What's the name?"
    ...
    "Uh, we don't have any internet or call in ToGo orders. Maybe it's at our other location?"
    Me: "Third location? You have another location??"
    "Yes, it's at the other end of town near Big Lots and Kroger."
    Me:.....o_O:annoyed::frusty::facepalm:
    Drive to the third location that I had previously not even known of. "Hi, I have an internet order...."
    "Here's your food".
    Me: Walks back outside. The almost tornado speed winds that had been forecast for the evening had arrived and just as I was walking up to my truck, a rain gutter form the restaurant literally blew off the roof and landed right in front of my truck. Thankfully, not on my hood.

    At least we finally got our food....... But I don't think we will be going back.
