Canada has a pretty fun game played on frozen water with knives on your feet with a club. When I was in my late teens we would play pick up hockey and rent ice. In Detroit it was $28 an hour, we could get it in Tillbury Ontario for $18. Jeez I’m old!

Then you have the European "french fries and mayonnaise" thing. Which is interesting. Although, I prefer the mayonnaise mixed with ketchup.

    Morning all you taco turds!

Although I've never had "poutine" which is the fries with gravy and cheese I believe....I don't see what could go wrong. Potatoes, gravy, cheese, etc.. My favorite thing is to use leftover mash taters and mix it with onions and cheese. Shape it into a small pancake and pan fry for breakfast! man....you can't go wrong! Another staple is cheese fries...win!

We actually have a hockey team in charlotte now I’m not sure how the following is going. I do not see checkers jerseys around but we have a team.

You've been hanging out with the dogs too much. They eat anything.

gotta chime in here.... a number of years back we had an Irish pub in a locale close to me (VA). They were my first experience with poutine. at the time had never heard of it. I read the description and giggled at the name, but was intrigued. I ordered it. It was fantastic! I got it every time I went back. So here is my positive vote for fries covered in gravy and melted cheese!
Crinkle cut fries take top billing for me and get ketchup usually, but Arby's Horsey sauce is actually pretty good on them as well.
I find Mayo a little lacking in zest for fries, personally. Really good Fries need nothing but a touch of salt.

    Good morning everybody.

I tried the poutine thing once, not my thing. But then I may have been the southern interpretation of the Canadian dish that messed it up.

Morning 50's Picked up Baby Addie yesterday from daycare. Had a ham butt in the crock pot. Made noodles, broccoli, garlic rolls. She tore the ham up! Ate very good for Pappy and made my day! Thinking she likes salty food. Happy Tuesday all!

I'm good. The most "travel" I'll be doing today is to go check the mailbox and drag the garbage can to the curb
