Mornin Taco Turds! Did a little fishing yesterday and then back to work at the home office. Didn't get the Tenkara rod out but will soon! Shad are running here in Virginia so it's always a blast to catch those mini Tarpons!

    Little better. Back to work.
Must have spiked a fever at some point last night because I woke up with all of my covers thrown off. Sinus congestion is winding down I think. Still coughing a ton. See how today goes...

    Good morning everyone.

I watched a YT vid last night that made me think about Weesa- someone caught a bear attacking a bison in Yellowstone recently. The bison chased the bear away a few times but the bear was persistent and got the bison into the river where it finally overpowered the bison.

I'm torn by this. I always LOVED tilling the garden, letting the chickens rummage thru that beautiful dirt. Then I started reading (stupid interwebs) about not disturbing the biome that much with an annual tilling. Haven't rented one from HD for about 3 years now, and started planting with microbes in the holes.

I've had a big black box (3x3x3 roughly) for compost, but those tiny doors on the bottom just don't make for good removal of product, and I certainly can't mix the contents very well. Just put together one of the spinning ones this weekend, and started it with a bit of mixture from the big black box, then grass and sawdust. Spinning it like The Price is Right! The box is about reached its useful lifespan, all the seems are starting to break.

The crop farmers I rent some of my land too, do a no till or anything. They just bring in a few of those do all implement planters and till, turn and plant all at the same time.
I was brought up to always fertilize , cutting hare, till, lay off rows then plant. It's time consuming but I always have something fresh to eat unless it rains so much and water logs everything. But as far as me getting the tiller ready, it never happened, seen some places that needed mowing so I ended up mowing. Maybe tomorrow I'll get to the tiller.:thumbsup::yes:
