Good morning everybody!! The wife got a good picture of the boy yesterday! This is what I use to keep the younglings off the lawn!! A993B46C-9D07-4079-A4FC-0504F4F5050C.jpg
This method actually works on everything!

And climbing or descending inclines, like hills. That's tough when you have a torn or ripped meniscus.

Sorry to hear about your knee problems , Your Doctor has a good plan of treatment though . Those injections your Doctor is talking about which is Synvisc injections work very well in relieving pain and is a series of injections into the knee joint that is good for 6 months

The knee brace will be a custom made carbon fiber brace that has been molded to fit your knee . This also called a knee unloader brace and works by relieving pain /pressure on the knee brace

This is my old Knee unloader brace for my left knee

I was kinda hoping you might chime in, Chuck, knowing your recent knee issues and experiences.

Very comforting to hear the injection helps a good bit, and lasts a while.

The knee brace my doctor gave me isn't as heavy duty as the one you show, which is what I was expecting.

This is what I was given. The "pad" in the center goes on the outside of the knee at the joint to gently push inward, to keep the join in optimal alignment and so relieve at least some of the pain, and prevent further damage as much as possible. I wear this for a month, then go back for follow up and possibly an injection.

Dog got her first tick on her a few days ago as she walked on the edge of the woods. It's that time of year again.
