It’s beautiful here in Seattle as well. But I bet your temps are a little bit warmer than ours. Say hello to my son…

Just remember, the Dr. doesn't feel a thing...

35 year old GMC beater update.. Y pipe went on, the rest of the exhaust fell in line pretty well. I had to drill 2 holes into the frame to use the '94 hanger bracket on the frame, surprisingly the frame is still solid back there underneath the scaly rust. I start it up, it's actually pretty quiet and just starts easier and idles better. Then I hear it. A loud 'tic tic tic tic' so I start feeling around all of the joints, no leaks. I can hear it up near the pass side manifold so I opens the hood and start feeling/looking. That's when I noticed a bolt head missing from the exhaust manifold, the same place where a ground strap should mount to. ( you know, the same strap dangling in the air underneath of the truck...) I put a screw driver into the hole as a quick and dirt depth mic and it would seem that the bolt is sheared off right at the cylinder head. I guess I need to drop that manifold after all and hope for the best as I don't want to pull the head, but there isn't any good access to the bolt to drill/Heli-coil in that spot. $300 beater trucks, what could go wrong???

I would like to see a mole try and dig in my yard.

Sand and rocks. And a touch of dirt
