    your post sounded like you were close to my area.... saw you were in virginia.. ya kinda are.

    we've got hundreds of dead ash trees on my hillside/top & we get lots of wind up here. its a constant fight with every windstorm. we give away all the firewood so that it doesnt rot on the ground & just cant keep up with it. got at least 20 that are broke off about 15-20' up right now & in places its just been too wet to get them up/out.

    but here's what i wanted to share: we have some new young ash trees that will live & keep them from going extinct on our place. i treat them every spring with this stuff: https://www.domyown.com/merit-75-wp-p-300.html its dirt cheap & a bottle will last you for years. just follow the directions & application to the letter.

    we already have to treat our fruit & berry trees, so doing a few ash at the same time to make sure the species survives is no big deal. It also gives you some of the only healthy Ash trees around!

    Happy Bday to @Tacoma Mike! I hope that you get to do something fun today.

    I saw this T-shirt while selling some RC truck stuff at a swap meet last Saturday, it was perfect.



    After the swap meet ended and just before the biblical monsoon started, I had a bout 15 minutes to play on the comp courses. The little 1/24 crawler flexs out pretty good! I've made some front wheel wells from .010 styrene, I need to make some for the rear. The tires are about a 1/4" taller then stock but much wider, so the wheel wells had to be "massaged" to fit the new shoes.

    this little patch 2 broke off @6ft up and other 2 were gonna do the same. windstorm got these. here you can look at a patch of woods and see a group of trees with no leaves,good bet its a patch of Ash. thats fir the info:thumbsup:
