    I came really close to buying a slightly used '89 back in the day, but it would have doubled my car payment and tripled my insurance. So it didn't happen.:pout: I ended up buying a new '95 P/U a few years later after saving up some more pennies and dropping a few tickets off my license.

    I went with a dewalt because I have bought into thier battery system. 16 in bar. Just sharpened the teeth, cuts great...until the battery is low. About 30 min of aggressive cutting...very aggressive.

    Just get a high voltage, name brand and the biggest bar you can afford. I have a 10 in electric.B&D pruning chainsaw and a 20 or 22 in McCullough gas piece of shit.

    Good afternoon everyone!

    Ahh, old Bronco talk. I had a '89 that I bought in '91, it was a bit of a strange bird in the way it was spec'd. It was an XL, so vinyl flooring and low back buckets. 302/5 speed manual but with factory 4.10 and limited slips front and rear. AC and cruise were about the only options that I could remember. I traded my '85 Toyota truck ( like a dummy) in on it. It lasted a few years, it was fun in the SoCal desert and comfy for long trips but it was a thirsty pig.

    The weather here is getting very nasty !!! . Just had a strong t storm that was being tracked by the NWS that was producing very strong wind gusts roll thru my area . Winds were strong enough that I had dirt on the inside window sill of all the windows facing that wind gust

    I thought at first it was a Tornado as these strong gusts lasted maybe 2-3 minutes and you could here debris hitting the windows

    i think my plan of deep cleaning my whole house this weekend was a little over ambitious

    i just wanted to get caught up on some stuff here so that i can spend more time camping and less time doing stupid adult chores and things. the weather has been kinda poopy this weekend so i didn't go out.

    oh, and i put my christmas tree away and made a key lime pie. that's a solid weekend of work i think :laugh:

    funny! i've actually never made one before - just something i've been craving and can't buy at the store on account of the glutens. so i figured i'd give it a whirl
    been raining off and on since friday afternoon. rained pretty hard last night and had some thunder here and there
