I thought much the same thing when it got to my place. Just before the rain showed got here, the sky got dark, and the wind really picked up. Thankfully nothing came of it; as soon as the rain showed up the wind calmed down. The rain sure did cool the temp off; the high was 84° but quickly dropped to a more palatable 73°.

Edit: As soon as I posted this, another thunder cell swooped in from the north. As I hadn't verified that my new chicks had all made it inside the coup. I braved the storm to check on them. For the first time, they all managed to get inside the coup on their own before the door closed. But now my clothes are soaked through from the waist down.:(

I have the B&D I carry in the back of the buggy, must be 5 or 6 year ago got it. It was the only one that I could fit in the Tractor Supply box. Only for emergencies in case aspen or pines fall and block me in on a trail. Can cut up to 20" of course if I have to.

Started using it around the house on smaller jobs where I didn't want to fire up the farm boss. 2 years ago decided that the electric saws were pretty decent. HD had a sale on the Ryobi 16" brushless saw and 10' pole trimmer. With 2 batteries and the price was pretty good so I went with the combo. Well worth it. Last fall they had the super duper extra duper leaf blower on sale with 2 extra batteries and fast charger that also fit the chainsaw and pole trimmer. So now have enough batteries to keep on going longer than I can.

I agree pick one and jump in but get as many batteries as you can in combo packs or whatever on sale.

I had a 71 with the half cab and full cab. I still regret selling it.

A few years ago I hated cordless, that is until my friend let me use his Dewalt 20v 1/4" impact. Now I'm deep in Dewalt 20v tools. A couple drills, two 1/4" impacts, two 5" grinders, leaf blower, string trimmer, pole saw, 1/2" impact, work light and soon to order one of their fans. If it turns out as good as the reviews I'll order one or two more. I have a pretty good selection of batteries up to 6 ah.

Edit: I forgot I have a Dewalt saws all...probably more if I think harder.

A little of this and a little of that.
    :hattip:Good morning everyone…Monday again o_O

Enjoy your day and stay safe.

    :oldglory:

Good grief, that tree looks hollow  Glad no one was hurt.

Another vote for Dewalt. I have many of their tools and many more 20v batteries. The ability to work cordless when I’m working at a rental house is crucial.
