Good morning. Last day of work for a few days. Eye surgery was rescheduled for tomorrow. Stay Well…Stay Safe

 

I came home yesterday because I’ve got another quick turnaround planned for Thursday I need to get an oil change and reconfigure the van. But I did do a little exploring no wading but I fished off the rocks a little on the Lehigh. I had one break me off and then nothing but I talked to some folks gathered information and next time I’ll have a better idea of where to head. Down here we have hunting clubs well as it turns out in PA they have the same thing going on. But the difference is the club is tying up large sections of stream so I was not able to get to mud run the other day. But there’s a state park with a hiking trail that goes to a section of it. I have gathered pretty much everything I need to wet wade so I’m going to go back again with a hike in mind and fish it next time. The Lehigh is a beautiful river but it needs to be floated. I talked to a couple locals and one knew a member of the club on mud run, he was telling me it would be worth it to take a walk to the section inside the state park. I ran into the same thing on penn creek I guess when you’re state is famous for its Trout streams you have fishing clubs.

 

Good morning. Pick up a new shotgun from my FFL today. Provided I don't get the dreaded pending further review from the Feds.

I'm lost on that, it's either a good day or not. Since retiring there is no "days off". It's just wrkn on stuff everyday until you can't.
