    Lost a wiper blade on the interstate in the middle of a downpour
    Had to take the passenger side one and put it on the drivers side
    Zip tied it on because if I lost it I was seriously screwed
    And zip ties a rag over the arm on the empty side so it didn’t scratch my glass
    Just leaving oreillys auto now with new blades

    I’m cold, drenched, and thought I was going to get hit by a semi truck because only about half of the drivers pulled into the passing lane while I was stopped with my emergency flashers going.

    The same thing happened to me In the Tacoma a few months ago during a 50 mile drive in a severe t storm . Having to turn the wipers on full speed for almost an hour caused the wiper blade to fail

    Luckily I had rain x water repellent on my windshield which allowed the rain drops to bead up on it
