Somebody pull that bird's tail, it's pseudo-Friday and my bro-in-law-in-law and I are off to a watering hole to HOPEFULLY enjoy a dram of old Pappy 12. The wives go to bingo every Thursday and spend more than that there, so we are conspiring to call our mutual friend Uber.
    Might have a steak salad too . . .

A little of this and a little of that.
Thank you Chuck. I appreciate your kind words especially considering you have one of the nicest, cleanest 1st Gens out there.

Thank you Jim. You have a very sharp looking AC with a cap, topper, shell.
Thanks Rob! I'm glad to be back in a three pedal truck. :burnrubber:

Thank you Dewayne. You also have a sweet AC truck.

well that went better than expected...
my neighbors and i had a little sit down with our landlords
put a few different ideas out there, trying to get them to reconsider selling. they actually seemed pretty receptive to our ideas which i'm glad for
sounds like they just want to get rid of the building because of the maintenance - like mowing the lawn. they're both in their 70's and its just getting to be too much.
so one of the things we offered was to do it ourselves. they seemed to like that idea

    feeling not so hopeless tonight.

how about buying from them. Seller finance. They get the income stream and no maintenance and you get equity.

What if y’all bought it from them and managed it yourselves like a condo co-op? There are some duplexes in my MIL’s neighborhood that did that and those streets look better now.
