Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
A little over a year and a half ago, I noticed one evening, I was having a hard time reading, and the woodwork around the living room window had kinda jagged/wavy lines, not straight. It had been a long day, so I figured my eyes were just tired. Woke up the next morning and still the same, now I'm spooked. I called in to work, said I wouldn't be in and immediately called my optometrist, who immediately referred me to a retina specialist.

Oops, let's take a step back...I had recently had a follow-up procedure done on my laser cataract surgeries.

The retina specialist explained that I had 'swelling' in both retinas, seems it's a possible side effect of the follow-up laser treatment. Since then, I've been doing eye drops, starting with 2 meds multiple times a day, now down to 1 drop once a day. Next week is hopefully my last visit with the retina specialist as my eyes have been back to normal now for over 6 months. Three months ago, he said the swelling looked to be gone but wanted to wait to make sure.

Scary stuff. The thought of going blind scared the hell out of me...even if it was only one eye. Driving truck and riding motorcycles gets difficult when you're blind.

Hoping yours works out without further problems.

Good evening everyone. ( 10:40 pm local time)

I was outside trying ( and failing) at replacing the rear brake flex line on Prudence and out of nowhere, BOOM! BOOM! BOOOOMMMMMMM! Lots of flashing lights.. it seems that the township had fireworks tonight, I could see them from my front yard. Not a single notification that they even had any planned. Funny how they can't tell you about fun stuff but they find the time to send me a bitch-o-gram in the mail complaining about the 3 TAGGED vehicles in my driveway. Oy Veh!

Silverton, CO. The main road is half paved, half hard pack then at the edge of town, pure dirt on the way to the Alpine Loop and Animas Fork.

I'm trying to remember the name of the member that he and his wife sold their house and most worldly processions and took their F350 and RV trailer and was going to spend a few years touring the country. Not long into the journey, he found himself working in a high end rod rod shop. I don't believe that we've heard from him in over a year.

A little of this and a little of that.
    :hattip:Good morning.

Friday, and tomorrow my vacation starts. Going to visit with family in upstate NY.

Did someone say road trip? :burnrubber: Dirt roads and a bar at the end of the trail. Sign me up!

Dammit Blevin. I hope Fred the Floater gets out soon. All the best to you as you deal with this.

Glad that your eyes are staying healthy. Blindness scares me as well.

    Nice set-up Mark!

Sorry I missed this last night Miss Susan. It’s going good here, temps have fallen back into the “normal” hot and humid range and random pop up thunderstorms are back in the forecast. How are things in SC?

A bit cooler and less humid again today.
I went online today to check my health insurance. The wife is listed .
I'll have to stop in at the H.R. office and thank the nice young lady

    I like your setup.
Truck looks nice. When I got my my truck I was hoping to find one the same color. Our Rav4 is that color.
