Are they due to lightning strikes or campfires? That’s a lot of fires!

Kinda like playing the lottery. Never know when will pop up. North of here they're getting lighting fires...then there's the idiots and pyro's.

Get one of these: https://comfortdirect.ca/product/eco-air-14000-btu-3-in-1-portable-air-conditioner/ works better than a window unit (not necessarily that specific unit, but that type)

    Hope he feels better soon.

Every time I go in my back yard, I have my eyes pealed for one of those nasty critters!!! They blend in so well out here....

 Yeah, that looks very painful

I resemble that remark!!! according to my neighbor :anonymous:

Good gawd, I went through that all of last week. The lead designer slapped together a model that needed some updated drawings, He left on VaCay and I was supposed to take care of the drawings. I simply opened the model last Monday, made 1 simple change to effect the redline change for the drawing and checked it back into the vault. I checked it back out to look at an anomaly and as soon as I opened the model, it was like dropping a lego masterpiece off of the top of the stairs onto a concrete floor...

The designer got back today and saw the ungodly mess and stayed pretty calm, he had a backup on his PC C:drive and was able to force an overwrite and check it back into the vault. After a bunch of looking into the mess, it was discovered that my PC was configured with WIN 11, which doesn't play well with inventor 2022. I.T. can't rollback WIN 10 on my PC because their corporate is mandating WIN 11 on everything, which will force them to install inventor 2023 and a new, compatible vault system. I smell a shit storm in the making. In the mean time, my boss is moving me to a different team that uses Siemens NX for CAD. I've only used the CAM package for CNC programming, they seem to think that I should pick it up quickly.

Venom is crazy stuff. A friend was bit by a black widow and it turned black like that as well. Hopefully with the anti-venom on board things will continue to improve. We will continue to pray.
