Good rainy morning. I bet my neck of the woods has caught up on its rainfall shortage.

We’ve been getting them every few days heavy enough to make the sump pump work in the dead of summer.

With all the water my cellar actually had a water intrusion by the chimney this year.
First time ever. Actually second since the first time I let the chimney door get open… lol

you guys got started early this morning!

didnt get to bed until 2am..... so dogs let me sleep until 7am. everybody is fed & morning walked in the wet grass.

man i need to mow today! yesterdays heavy thunderstorms seem to of made my grass jump about 2" overnight. Problem is its stew to breath out there again today & ground is super soft now. gonna tear up some spots for sure if i do it early or sweat & drown if wait for it to dry a bit.

hmmmmmm think i'll wait just a little & then try to do all of the above (because im gluttin for punishment)

make today as good as it can be!

We had storms come through last night. Cooler and less humid for few days.
I'll be cutting grass today. It's been 2 weeks since last cutting.

    Good afternoon everybody

I skipped TW and the 2nd cup of coffee this morning so I could start mowing the grass before the heat and humidity really built up. I got it done but the sweat was still dripping off my nose and elbows by the time I finished. I grabbed a shower and did a quick town run and now I’m done for the day. I’m not coming out of the AC until the sun goes down.

I'm not an early riser so I mowed last night, I waited until after the sun dropped behind the trees to start around 6:30. That meant I was cutting in the dark for a little over an hour to finish, but the heat was far less brutal.

Went to the wife's family reunion. The grandson and I slipped away to walk the nature trail at the park, which travels along this so called creek. More like a small river.
