Good morning crew! It was hard to hit the "like" button for Taco-Grinders post, that is really a loss. Not too may musicians left that just make 'feel good, be happy' kind of music.

I'm off to visit Harpers Ferry, I can't remember the last time that I was there. Marty's recent pics of his pit stop there got me thinking about it.

Everyone have a great day! Let's hope Weesa hasn't turned into the next Otzi.

 

Margaritaville has aways been a favorite of mine.
22 years ago I was on a 3 day canoeing trip down the Wisconsin River, camping on islands. Sitting by the campfire this song came on. I thought I was almost in heaven.
In 2019 while sitting on a beach in Sarasota Florida this song came on. I thought I'm in heaven.
Last spring while in Moab Utah again this song came on. I thought, it doesn't get much better than this.

Travel day

That is sad. I was a parrothead for a few years, saw 3 concerts

 

Kids staying at the cabin and commuting to the off-road races in Crandon WI. The empty nest is cool, but I like it when they come back.

 

Did they go see the KISS concert?

NOBODY could be convinced to go! They wanted to come here, and I wanted us to go there! (Truth be told, a chunk of our extended family was in Rhinelander getting one of us patched up from a racing accident. Physically OK but out for the weekend!)

 

Good morning everybody, have a great Saturday. I’m headed over to the kid's house for babysitting duty.

I hadn’t heard about that, that’s a spanking lol. Usually a better match between them.

Sad day for Parrotheads. I imagine there is going to be a hell of a wake down here at the Flora-Bama Lounge or Lulu's. He used to do summer concerts at the Flora-Bama and Lulu's is his sister's burger joint and bar over in Gulf Shores, AL.

 

Morning. Moving slow today. Last few days have been crazy busy. But school starts Wednesday so I’m afraid it’s not going to get any better. Good thing I love my job.
