    setting in the condo at teh beach. up on the 15th floor. we did an early morning walk & going deep sea fishing tomorrow. chilling for a bit in the a/c. it was 98* on the beach already. more walks later tonite.

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    I'm seeing a retina specialist for cysts behind my retinas. He said at the first appointment that shots may be needed if the steroidal eyedrops didn't do the job. I told him: you're going to have to knock me out if you want to stick a needle in my eye. Nope, can't like that at all. Eye drops seem to have done the trick, thankfully!

    They numb your eye up good and you really don’t feel anything but it’s pretty unnerving to see the needle near your eye…

    Hope your cysts heal with just the drops.

    Mine is because of a retinal hemorrhage I had out of the blue. Was probably blood pressure related, my primary doc has me on BP meds now so we have that under control. Retinal doc was very happy with the progress since the first shot, did this one due to a very small amount of swelling that’s still there around the occluded blood vessel. He will do a laser procedure next week, then a third shot 6 weeks later. Hoping after that will will be able to stop the injections or at least extend the time between them :fingerscrossed:

    It got by my elaborate, antisquirrel, fence.
    But just burrowed below the plywood on the roof, not the bathroom.
