Great tune. Just saw the video a few days ago and was arguing with the wife the Cohen was long dead. Nope, quick Internet search later and I was wrong.
I prefer the Rufus Wainwright and KD Lang versions personally.

Oh my yes. I had my left hip R&R'd in 2013 and it is 99.997% as good as my natural hip. Two words to remember: "direct anterior approach" (ooops that's three). That's the kind of surgery you want.

If you ever feel like swinging that sledge again for old times' sake I have just the thing for you.

Thanks! And thanks to all of you for sharing your stories with this old man. I can't quite keep up with the sheer number of posts in this thread but I do enjoy stopping in now and again.

Good luck Andy! Once again I understand exactly what you mean and hope you don't pay too dearly today. And every time I get sick seems like it includes the weekend, feel like crap then come Monday am OK to go back to work. What the hell is up with that?!

I've ended up with degenerative arthritis in my left ankle, I'm only 58. And was told my sciatic nerve issue is now from degenerative arthritis in my spine. And there isn't much they can do much for either I hate the term degenerative arthritis at this point. Damn that is for old folks not me. Get a cortisone shot in my left ankle right before hunting season just so I can walk somewhat decent and they limit me to 3 shots a year. Sports Med built me custom orthotics to help, but days of walking 10-12 miles a day chasing birds are long gone. Can only go 6-7 miles a day now and have tears in my eyes at the end of the day, but I'm not crying not sure where they are coming from. The pain in my shoulder from the cold is nothing anymore compared to that damn ankle and spine.

Would like to pick up another pup to go with my 2 year old dog but don't think it would be fair to it. In 10 years don't see myself being able to go that far with either of them and giving them enough exercise. Hopefully some break through medically will happen in the meantime, but not holding my breath. They can do a lot with knees, hips, and shoulders but ankles not so much. But not giving up yet either. Good luck and be careful. Once that ankle goes arthritic and you can't walk like you used to life changes a lot and not for the better. Sounds like your doing everything you can and is a very smart decision on your part. Wish you the best with it.

Holy Cow!! No thanks LOL I do split a lot of oak now, it is all I burn. And wait until it sits for a couple of days at below zero to get good and hard before I hit it with the splitting maul. But something that big I'd have someone come in and slab the main trunk. Or just sell it outright. Plenty of branches on that thing to cut and burn though :)

They sure picked a good day to reseal the parking lot in my apt complex . watching the workers in 35 deg temps spread leaves and debris around from all the dead fall . They get half an area cleaned up and another wind gust blows more debris onto the ground

Also watching them try to apply the slurry in high winds is another LOL moment . The slurry is going everywhere but onto the ground . Wonder how long until the paving foreman gives up and calls it , they're supposed to be here all week

Also while walking around there's a lot of damaged trees and some have noticeably large widow makers . Some trees are even making loud snapping sounds in this wind

Looks like a better option is tossing them thru the sliding rear window !!!

    Nailed it! ^^^^^

    I remember those days.

 You'd think they'd be smart enough not to try in that kind of wind. :notsure:

Very good so far. 19°F with no wind this morning. Once we get day light in a couple hours, I'm gonna see about a few strings of Christmas lights. :)

Nah, this works great. Just reach over the rail to get our stuff, and the cart is already returned.

That is smart! Yeah sometimes the AC rear doors can be difficult, that is using your head for more than a hat rack Tim well done

The dog owns the back of my AC, so I have a platform in half of the back of the bed and use the windoors to put the groceries on it. Even when I am out getting "fast food" on the wing :)
