All the camp sites and rooms near Madison are booked. We have to decide. Head north (stuff I want to do) or head home (stuff I should do)? The lump of blankets next to me isn’t responding.

like most of you.... i live pretty rural in the middle of farming area's, but up on top of a hill.

we are actually a small/hobby fruit, nut, berry farm. the leaf & nuts on the ground thing is insane here.

have posted overheads of our property in this thread before about 100pages back. The yard work NEVER ends, its just takes different cycles & levels of involvement. soon the leaves will be to the halfway mark of dropping here & then i'll get more serious about moving them. right now its just been playing with other ways & techniques to see what its gonna be this year.

the walnut removal didnt go so well, but gonna get my rubber blade out & try again next week after this rain stops.

yeah its warm again today, but very rainy. then the cold is coming in with some highs in the low 5o & 40's next week.

but for this morning? sitting on the couch with the doggo's while the wife sleeps off her "white girl wasted" wine night. she had a tough week at work by her definition & wanted to get out of her mind. she did. she came to bed at 630 am which is when i gor up for the dogs. another fantastic day is under way. lol

live every day like its your last. because it could be.

The up keep can be a pain sometimes but I wouldnt live anywhere else. we are in country farm land also.yes you get leaves, walnuts, etc. and manure and mud splatter on you truck at times. but well worth it for the peace, community and privacy that comes also. you hear a gunshot around here you dont even look up.
